Terms of Service & User Agreement
Please read these terms before using our tire calculators, conversion tools, or vehicle fitment guides.
All calculations and clearance guides are mathematical estimates for learning and reference only.
Real tire dimensions vary between tire brands, tread designs, wheel widths, and tire pressure. You must verify physical clearance, load capacity, and rim fitment on your actual vehicle before driving. Always check with a certified mechanic and follow your vehicle manufacturer manual.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you ("User") and TireToInches.com ("we", "us", or "our").
By visiting our site or using our calculators, you agree to these Terms. You also agree to our Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.
If you do not agree with any of these terms, please stop using our website and tools immediately.
2. Tire Fitment & Engineering Disclaimers
TireToInches provides free automotive math tools. These tools are subject to the following real-world limits:
Calculated Numbers vs. Real Tires
Our tools use standard TRA, ETRTO, and ISO tire sizing formulas. Real tires can differ. Mud-terrain tires with deep tread can be 0.5 to 1.0 inch taller or wider than the size stamped on the sidewall.
Suspension & Clearance Differences ("Will It Rub?")
Clearance guides assume stock ride height and standard wheels. Sagging springs, lift kits, wheel offsets, and crash bars alter clearances. A tire that fits one truck may rub on another. Always test fit tires before driving on the highway.
Speedometer Accuracy & Road Laws
Taller tires make your speedometer read slower than your actual speed. You are responsible for recalibrating your speedometer with an ECU tuner to obey local road speed limits.
Load Ratings & Tire Pressure Safety
Never install tires with a lower Load Index than the factory tires listed on your door placard. When switching from P-Metric to Light Truck (LT) tires, check official pressure tables to ensure proper load safety.
